DNA Group Meeting

The next meeting will be on Thursday Nov 16, 2017 at 7 pm at the LDS Church.

This will be an Introduction to DNA Testing for Beginners.
This will be useful for those considering buying a DNA test during the Holiday discount season.
It will provide the information you need to decide what test to buy and what company to buy the test from. It will cover the three main types of DNA test -
Y-DNA, mitochondrial DNA, and Autosomal DNA.

Most of the DNA companies will be offering sales on their tests for Thanksgiving.
If this is your first Autosomal test, I recommend that you start with AncestryDNA, and later add a test from one of the other companies.
