Meeting of the Writing Group

The Writing Group will meet on Wednesday, Aug 16th, 2017 at the LDS Church, starting at 10:30 am.

Art has given us an important homework assignment.  Do it now while you are thinking of it!  We have talked about how much photos enhance our stories, memoirs etc.  You should have Art's Memoir Handout (you could have downloaded it last month).  In it he describes how to write an effective caption for any photo.  That's it!  Do more if you like!

So,  Write something meaningful to you.  Add a photo, and write a caption for your picture.  Bring a few copies to share while you read it, and join us the 16th.  Enjoy!

You don't have to stop researching your genealogy to join the Writers Group.  You can be the spouse (or friend) of the researcher in your family.  You don't have to come to every meeting....come when you can.  If you don't write down the stories you have heard or been told in your family.....who will? Not sure how you want to write your story?  We will discuss different possibilities.  You do it your way with as much help as you want.  We will have some pros join us with their ideas.  Come with your ideas.....but COME.
