noon on April 6th at the residence of her family in Ross Valley,
Miss Adah Georgia HICKMOTT,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hickmott, was married to Edwin CLARK, a young businessman of San
Francisco. Dr. McKenzie of the
Presbyterian Seminary performed the ceremony. The maid of honor was Miss Marian Stevenson, and the
bridesmaids were Miss Garretson of Hayward, and Miss Frances Farrish of Berkeley. The bride is the daughter of Robert
Hickmott, the millionaire asparagus grower.
The groom is well known in business circles in San Francisco. |

One of
the most delightful weddings took place at St. Raphael’s Church yesterday
morning at 10:30 when Miss Margaret SHORT
became the bride of City Attorney Joseph K. HAWKINS. The ceremony
was performed by Father Egan and mass was celebrated by Father Phillips. The bride was given away by her brother
Orey J. Short, and the groom was attended by his brother, ex-coroner Hawkins
of San Francisco. They will take a
two week honeymoon and when they return will live here on Mission Street. |
