The groom was Fred SWEETZER,
only son of Mr. and Mrs. John Sweetzer of Novato and brother of Mrs. J.B.
Burdell of Petaluma, and Miss Henrietta VALENCIA, second eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.C.
Valencia. Both bride and groom belong
to pioneer Marin families. Judge
Rodden tied the knot. |

We have
had a delightful surprise in announcing the engagement of Miss Adelaide
BERTHIER and Mr. William Marcy KLINK.
Miss Berthier is such a charming girl, and with all of her social
popularity has found time to keep up her reputation as being one of the best
read girls in Sausalito. Mr. Klink is
well known in Sausalito, having spent several summers and made many friends
here. He is the manager of the
manufacturing department of Shreve & Co., and is a prominent member of
the Bohemian Club. He is also
possessed of an exceptionally good voice.
The wedding will take place in February in the Christ Church. |

the friends of the happy principals, Miss Grace VERDENAL of San Francisco and Thomas P. BOYD of San Rafael. The
bride elect is the daughter of J.M. Verdenal, prominent attorney of this
city, and niece of D.F. Verdenal, New York correspondent of a San Francisco
publication. Miss Verdenal is gifted
with beauty and charm. The lucky man
met Miss Verdenal a year and a half ago.
Mr. Boyd has recently been elected as District Attorney. He was previously City Attorney. The wedding will take place in the near
future. |
