Michael FITZGERALD was married at Nicasio last Tuesday to Miss Lillie ROGERS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Rogers of Nicasio.  The wedding was a quiet one; only the immediate friends and relatives being present.

Our City Treasurer, Mr. Arthur E. SCOTT, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony last Wednesday to Miss Mamie PETSCH of San Francisco, a niece of Mrs. E. Schwiesau of this city.  The wedding took place at the Church of St. Francis in San Francisco, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. Father Caraher, after which the friends accompanied the bride and groom to the home of the bride’s mother on Green Street, where an elegant breakfast was served.

Last Wednesday evening the marriage of Miss Alma MARTIN, daughter of Mrs. Ida Martin and the late John Martin of Chileno Valley, to James KOESTER, took place at the Martin home in Chileno Valley.  The wedding was an extremely quiet one.  Rev. W.H. Darden performed the marriage ceremony.  Mr. and Mrs. Koester will make their home in Petaluma after the usual honeymoon trip.

Last Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at St. Raphael’s Church, Rev. Father Phillips united in marriage Mr. Leonard O’CONNOR and Miss Juanita BAILEY, both of this city.  Mr. Manuel Yguera acted as best man, and Miss Lizzie O’Connor, the groom’s sister, attended the bride.  After the ceremony the young couple repaired to the groom’s home near San Quentin, where a spread awaited them.  Mr. O’Connor is a brother of the popular contractor, Tom O’Connor, and he has been conducting the dairy business for his mother since his father’s death some months ago.  The bride is a charming little woman who has been noted as possessing a sweet contralto voice.

A quiet wedding took place last Thursday at the residence of Mrs. Ella F. Park, the contracting parties being Mr. Fred SOUTHWORTH and Miss Belle NICHOLS.  The bride is a member of one of San Rafael’s best known families and the groom is a son of Dr. S.S. Southworth of San Rafael.  They will make their residence in San Rafael.

The wedding of Stephen EDEN with Miss Amelia BOYEN took place last Wednesday at Redwood City.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. J.W. Dr. Fuendiag at the residence of the lady’s parents in San Francisco, Wednesday, November 6th.  Mr. Murback was a non-commissioned officer in the Spanish war and has been for many years an employee of the narrow gauge railroad company, being for some time agent at Ross Station.

The wedding of Miss Frances CONNELLY of Occidental and Isaac John Vail BUTTON of San Francisco will be celebrated at the First Methodist Church here this afternoon.  Miss Connelly is a beautiful and accomplished girl and well known both in Sonoma and Marin Counties.  She is a daughter of Hon. John D. Connolly, a prominent resident of Sonoma County, a former consul to New Zealand.  Mr. Button has been prominent in business circles in San Francisco and has recently been engaged in business in Seattle, where the young couple will reside.  The bride will be attended by her cousin, Miss Georgie Doody of San Rafael.  The best man will be Philip Donnegan of San Francisco.

A fashionable crowd attended the wedding last Tuesday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church to witness the marriage ceremony of Miss Lulu FOY and Pierce P. FERRY.  The knot was tied by Rev. Wyllys Hall, Rector of the Church, after which the party repaired to the Hotel Rafael.  The bride was born in San Rafael.  Her father for many years was Superintendent of the narrow gauge railway and resided here.  Miss Foy is a pupil of Mill’s Seminary, but resided at the Hotel Rafael.  The groom is a rising young attorney of Seattle, where they will make their home in the future.

PERVINE, Superintendent of Customs at Manila.  The young couple were married Wednesday, December 4th, upon the arrival of the U.S. Transport Kilpatrick, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Father McKinnon.

Charles A. BURTNETT was married on November 3rd to Miss Pearl TAYLOR of Vallejo by the Rev. Dr. Kerr (formerly of San Rafael) at his residence in San Francisco.  Mr. and Mrs. Burtnett started for the home of the groom’s parents in Corte Madera, bringing with them their trunks containing their presents and their trousseau, and embarked on the ill-fated steamer San Rafael.  They were among the last to leave the sinking vessel and arrived at their destination with only the clothes they wore.
