Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at St. Raphael’s Church, Rev. Father
Phillips united in marriage Mr. Leonard O’CONNOR and Miss Juanita BAILEY, both of this city.
Mr. Manuel Yguera acted as best man, and Miss Lizzie O’Connor, the
groom’s sister, attended the bride.
After the ceremony the young couple repaired to the groom’s home near
San Quentin, where a spread awaited them.
Mr. O’Connor is a brother of the popular contractor, Tom O’Connor, and
he has been conducting the dairy business for his mother since his father’s
death some months ago. The bride is a
charming little woman who has been noted as possessing a sweet contralto
voice. |

prominent in business circles in San Francisco and has recently been engaged

crowd attended the wedding last Tuesday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church to
witness the marriage ceremony of Miss Lulu FOY and Pierce P. FERRY. The knot was tied by Rev. Wyllys Hall,
Rector of the Church, after which the party repaired to the Hotel Rafael. The bride was born in San Rafael. Her father for many years was
Superintendent of the narrow gauge railway and resided here. Miss Foy is a pupil of Mill’s Seminary,
but resided at the Hotel Rafael. The
groom is a rising young attorney of Seattle, where they will make their home
in the future. |

of Vallejo by the Rev. Dr. Kerr (formerly of San Rafael) at his residence in

them their trunks containing their presents and their trousseau, and embarked
on the ill-fated steamer San Rafael.
They were among the last to leave the sinking vessel and arrived at
