CORNETT

FREEMAN

At their country home between Petaluma and Tomales, one of the oldest and best known families in Sonoma and Marin Counties, celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding with a family reunion and reception to friends last Saturday.  The entire family, but two deceased, of the 12 sons and daughters, were present with their children and grandchildren.  The day at the Freeman home was of double importance, it being the occasion of the wedding of Miss Nellie FREEMAN, youngest surviving daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman, to Edward CORNETT of Tomales.  The nuptials will be the third union of the two well known families.  A few days ago, Miss Lillie FREEMAN, eldest of the family, was married to Will CORNETT.  Miss Lillie took the place in the Cornett family vacated by the death of her younger sister, who died, leaving twin daughters.  Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Freeman will go for a transcontinental trip and thence to Europe.  Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cornett left for a wedding trip to the springs.
