CORNETT FREEMAN |
At their country home
between Petaluma and Tomales, one of the oldest and best known families in
Sonoma and Marin Counties, celebrated the 50th anniversary of
their wedding with a family reunion and reception to friends last
Saturday. The entire family, but two
deceased, of the 12 sons and daughters, were present with their children and
grandchildren. The day at the Freeman
home was of double importance, it being the occasion of the wedding of Miss
Nellie FREEMAN, youngest
surviving daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman, to Edward CORNETT of Tomales. The
nuptials will be the third union of the two well known families. A few days ago, Miss Lillie FREEMAN, eldest of the family, was
married to Will CORNETT. Miss Lillie took the place in the Cornett
family vacated by the death of her younger sister, who died, leaving twin
daughters. Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Freeman
will go for a transcontinental trip and thence to Europe. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cornett left for a
wedding trip to the springs. |
