Feel free to drop in! We meet on the 4th Wednesday of every month, with a couple of exceptions. November's meeting is held on the 3rd Wednesday, due to Thanksgiving. There is no general meeting in December due to the holidays and our Winter Holiday Party. In October, we have an evening workshop and in April we hold our Annual General Meeting and Elections. In May of each year we hold an Anniversary Celebration. 2009
Annual Picnic - Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 1:00 pmDoris Salvisberg has graciously offered her home to us again for this annual event. She lives at 11 Denning Ave., San Rafael (Terra Linda). Please let her know if you are coming. E-mail her at dorissalvisberg@aol.com. Doris will provide the grill for the BBQ. Please bring the meat you want to BBQ, something to share, and your own drinks. We will provide paper products. Come and visit in a social setting. All are welcome. Beginners BreakfastMCGS members and all beginners are invited for breakfast the first Saturday of each month at Star Restaurant, 1700 Novato Boulevard, Novato at 9:00 a.m. Join us for food and discussion. This is a great opportunity to discuss your questions. It is to welcome those interested in genealogy and new to the Society. It is a chance for you to dip your feet in the water and get to know others on a smaller scale *and* to get some questions answered in a smaller, friendlier, more relaxed environment.
